This Mantap / Shrine is a mini replica of the temple of Goddess Chamundeshwari of the city of Mysore. During the Navarathri festivity in Mysore the idol of Goddess Chamundeshwari is placed within a mantap of this design and carried on the howrah of the caparisoned elephant of the Mysore Palace and taken on procession around the city, blessing all the people with health, wealth and prosperity.

Jharokha mantap / shrine is a mini replica of the window of the Hawa Mahal in Jaisalmer.  It is in the form of a balcony and supported by two pillars with over hangs in front of it. It is intricately & minutely carved on both the Shikar and base. Legend has it that, the poetess Meera Bai worshiped Lord Krishna in this mantap for all the public to see.

This Mantap / Shrine is built in the same style as the palaces of King Vardhaman 1 of the Pulakeshi dynasty. This mantap is supported on two pillars and consists of five tiers totally carved from top to bottom with intricately carved pillars, supporting pillar sections holding the roof of the mantap. This mantap is designed in shape of a window and can be hung on a wall or placed before an alcove / niche to house an idol.

This Mantap / Shrine derives its name from the town of Kumta in North Kanara (Karwar) district, where it was made in mass scale for devotees of Lord Vitobha of Pandarapura. This mantap consists of a single kalash mounted on a simple shikar supported by plain pillars mounted on an ordinary base. Simplicity was the theme of this mantap and was used by the poor townsfolk to revere their Lord Vitobha (Krishna).
